Supporting novice curlers and new skip on the ice!
Team Chapman has novice curlers and Teresa Kayahara is a new skip. During our first series we would like to support them to learn game and stay safe on the ice.
In our first draw we invite experienced curlers to support our novice curlers and new skip. When you have a bye please sign up to help out on the ice. This may include suggesting strategies in the house for our new skip, or helping novice curlers get prepared in the hack and sweep safely. There are so many things to figure out. We would like to have a few friendly folks on the ice to support curlers. A sign up will be posted. We’re asking 2 people per week to help out.
More curling opportunities…..
Sign ups for Singles and Doubles Events will be posted on curling board soon. Games are self organized.
Pre game talks will be organized. Roy and curlers will be invited to contribute to these sessions. More info to come.
