The Adult Curling Clinic is for members new to curling and would like to learn the basics from staying safe on the ice to delivering a stone and sweeping.
The clinic will be 90 minutes on the ice. Please bring clean indoor athletic shoes with a flat rubber sole to the club that they can change into shortly before curling. Dirty footwear can damage the ice and may be unsafe. Members that arrive with improper footwear will not be permitted to enter the ice rink. Please dress in warm comfortable layered clothing (no fleece) with gloves and a hat, the rink is 5⁰C. I suggest pants with some flexibility, yoga pants and track pants are popular, tight fitting jeans are not suitable.
If you have bad back or sore knees we will cover delivering a rock with a delivery stick in a standing position too.
